Germany: FITCE Germany

FITCE Germany (FG) was founded in 1961. It was the time when carrier services were owned by the state, and FG was integrated in the Deutsche Bundespost. With the opening of the market in the 1980ies a new era began. Besides the incumbent Deutsche Telekom, new providers emerged, such as Vodafone and O2. Increasingly FG members came from various provider organizations and also from suppliers, e.g. Siemens. Since 2016 FG is a registered association as FITCE Gruppe Deutschland e.V. Our members are managers from ICT-companies, e.g. Adtran, Deloitte, Deutsche Telekom or Unify. Our mission is to support our members in their daily work. The annual FITCE congress is an important platform for knowledge sharing and networking. Each year the congress is held in a different European country. We also support our members in their career development through our large network and the cooperation with an HR consultancy.
